Aggripa Wajo, B.Ed., M.A.
I immigrated to Canada 28 years ago. I am an experienced program manager, worked for World Bank and European consulting firms, having implemented development programs and government reform agendas.
Edmonton's growth and innovative development have been a major source of inspiration for me. I believe growth must include stronger communities, better services, and improved infrastructure.
With a background in development and small business startups, I am committed to being a decision-maker who ensures Edmonton’s growth benefits everyone.

Fair Property Taxes
Rising year after year — it’s time for smarter, fairer revenue solutions that don't burden our residents and businesses.
As your councillor, I will fight to freeze property tax increases and ensure residents pay fair taxes.
Reliable Public Transportation
New neighborhoods need dependable and affordable transit options that connect the entire city and reduce commute times.
I will advocate for a regular, dependable and affordable public transportation system in the areas of the new development to connect to the entire city during peak hours while keeping the "On Demand' to run at other times.
Community Safety
Beyond policing: We need community participation and open dialogue to create safer and more secure neighborhoods for everyone.
I will advocate for integrated community, social services agencies, and Edmonton police services support to provide effective, fair services to the public, including for our vulnerable citizens.
Better Business Environment
We must cut bureaucratic delays, provide dedicated support for small businesses, and ensure clean, accessible public spaces. I will support a lean bureaucracy to cut delays and provide the required support to Edmonton-based small businesses, to ensure a continued inflow of investment into the city spaces
